Josh Allen, founder of Richardandgrace (est. 2017), is a Houston-born multidisciplinary artist who bridges minimal abstract art, brutalist architecture, and contemporary fashion. With a Bachelor’s degree in Fashion and Business from Johnson & Wales University, Josh's work is rooted in the belief that art and design can reflect and reshape the human experience.
Central to the philosophy is the concept of the Chaos Monogram — a visual metaphor representing the unification of disorder and harmony. This motif reflects how moments of chaos and crisis often dismantle barriers between individuals, fostering empathy, collaboration, and resilience. The Chaos Monogram encapsulates this idea, symbolizing the transformation that can occur when people face challenges together, finding strength in shared purpose.
Through physical experiences between Art, fashion and music, Richardandgrace explores the concept of the unification of chaos and how that translates to preservation. Drawing inspiration from traveling globally, Richardandgrace embraces experience experimentation while maintaining a subtle nod to Texas’ conservative roots.
